Doodle Wooden Candlestick Pair
I found a pair of sad looking oak candlesticks on one of my treasure hunting outings. I painted them a neutral chalk white before applying a freehand doodle design using permanent ink blackliner pens. The black, pigmented, indelible ink is fade resistant. I sealed the design with a clear furniture wax.
Although these candlesticks are sold as a pair, both are unique as there are slight differences in the doodle pattern, a beautiful feature of hand applied design.
Dimensions: Height 21cm. Base width: 10.5cm. Candle cup internal diameter 2.2cm, will accept 22mm diameter candles.
