Fractured Garden
A piece created to honour the vibrant hues found in a summer garden. Utilizing a mix of felt appliqué, needle-felted wool fibres, and bits of waste fabric, enhanced with intricate hand and free machine embroidery. The canvas is repurposed from a cast-off cotton duvet cover that was artfully painted to coordinate with the overall design. The finished work has been stretched over a canvas and finished with a chunky yellow frame ready for display.
